The experience.
Explore Monteverde’s cloud forest on a guided walk that crosses 11 suspended bridges, offering views from the forest floor up into the canopy where epiphytes, lichens, vines, ferns and native birds thrive. The tour continues to a hummingbird garden for close observation and interaction with hummingbirds, then to one of the world’s largest live butterfly exhibitions spanning over 29,000 square feet, where guides explain the species’ natural history. The experience ends with a typical Costa Rican lunch and sweeping mountain and gulf views along the route.
