Explore Monteverde’s cloud forest at 1,800 meters with a guided walk across 11 suspended bridges that reveal the forest from the understory to the canopy. Enjoy panoramic views en route of the Gulf of Nicoya, Cerros de Nicoya and nearby lowlands. Learn about local flora and fauna—epiphytes, lichens, vines, ferns and cloud-forest birds—then visit a plantation to experience traditional coffee and chocolate production.
