The experience.
Spend a full day rafting the Tenorio River—an 8-mile stretch of class III–IV rapids—set between Miravalles and Tenorio volcanoes in Guanacaste. This guided adventure includes a 2.5-hour river run with plenty of twists, drops and opportunities to spot monkeys, birds and reptiles as you float through pristine rainforest. The outing features 4×4 transfers to the put-in, a snack during the trip and a typical lunch served after you rinse off at the riverside restaurant. Expect adrenaline, scenic views and native wildlife throughout the day.
