On this tour, you will walk through the Cloud Forest, about 11 suspended bridges, where you can see the cloud forest from the bottom or from the canopy lines or the top of the trees where you will find a variety of epiphytes, lichens, vines, ferns, birds native to the cloud forest. After the walk, we head towards the Hummingbird Garden where you will have the opportunity to observe and interact with these precious little birds. Also, we will visit the Butterfly garden, one of the largest exhibitions of live butterflies in the world with an area of over 29,000 square feet.

Monteverde is located in the upper part of the province of Puntarenas at a height of 1800 meters above sea level, at this altitude the climate changes drastically, there are cold or temperate temperatures, cloudy skies and mist; which is why it is considered cloud forest. On the road you will have the joy of observing beautiful landscapes of dry Tropical Forest and cloud forest and in the heights a spectacular view towards the Gulf of Nicoya and Cerros de Nicoya, Isla de Chira, lowlands of Puntarenas and Guanacaste.

We will finish the tour savoring a delicious typical Costa Rican lunch.
